URBAN EXPLORERS TO THE THEATER  – Saturday, October 4th
The La Mirada Theater (14900 La Mirada Blvd in La Mirada) is presenting COME FROM AFAR, telling the true story of kindness and community in the small town of Gander, Newfoundland, that welcomed stranded passengers after the 9/11 attacks.  This is a feel-good, clap-along kind of show.

Please go to the website http://LaMiradaTheatre.com  to purchase your own tickets for the 2pm matinee on Saturday, October 4th.

Afterwards we can go for an early dinner at NORTH WOODS INN (14305 Firestone Blvd in La Mirada).  This restaurant is just off the 5 freeway and is covered with ‘snow’.
